Please introduce yourself!

Professor Appiah writes in Color Conscious:  “We make up selves from a tool kit of options made available by our culture and society….We do make choices, but we don’t determine the options among which we choose” (p. 96).  Please share something about your own identity, including significant choices you have made thus far in your life.

  2. Rachel Whitehill is an eccentric baptist who has traveled from an Indian Reservation in the upper peninsula of Michigan (which, yes, is a thing), to the city of Detroit, to Louisville, to Cincy.
She's a writer. Working to levy the power of words with all their connotations and denotations to manipulate reader's emotions.

  6. My name is Nicholas Lambrinides. I am graduating senior with a Political Science degree here at Thomas More College. Upon graduation I leave for the United States Navy. I plan to become an officer and enter pilot school. I believe that seeing the world is an important goal to have to understand different cultures and people of the world. What better way to do that then to travel the world for the global force for good. #BravoZulu

I have lived majority of my life in Northern Kentucky, although I was born on the west of Cincinnati. I am the oldest of three children, therefore I am a natural leader, which sometimes comes across as bossy, but I assure you I am not bossy!

  13. I'm a former English prof at the U of Cincinnati, now retired after 35 years there. Am also a former neighbor of Dr. Cate & miss many great conversations with her & her husband Randy from earlier times. Despite all the former's and earlier's here, I'm also now enjoying living in North Carolina and am hoping the state legislature here will soon come to its senses and repeal its recent homophobic legislation.
